What a livestream day actually looks like
No highlight-reel polish here — this is the real thing. Ride along on a full production day: loading the truck, the drive out, and the complete setup from empty room to live-switched, broadcast-ready stream. If you've ever wondered what happens before your event goes live, this is it.
- 3-hour setup window. We ask for at least three hours in the room before doors — that's how the stream goes smoothly. It's all in the vlog above.
- Invoice paid before we go live. Payment is due in full prior to the event starting. No net terms, no surprises on show day.
Not every event needs a three-person crew. A wedding ceremony or a celebration of life can often run beautifully with a smaller footprint — and we price it that way.
There's real flexibility here, but we do need a short conversation about logistics first. The answers to a few questions determine the crew size, the gear that travels, and the price.
Every venue is different. A five-minute call gets your quote right.
Are we running sound, or pulling from the board? If the venue has an A/V team, we take a clean feed from their board. If not, we bring and run our own audio — which changes the gear list and the crew.
Does the LiveU come with us, or stay home? LiveU bonded cellular means the stream never depends on venue WiFi. If the venue has reliable hardline internet, we can leave it behind and save you the cost.
Where is the stream going? YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn Live, or a custom RTMP destination — single or simulcast.
About the LiveU: bringing the bonded cellular unit adds roughly $820 per event. It's the single best insurance policy against a venue's internet failing mid-stream — but if your venue's connection is solid, we'll tell you honestly that you don't need it.
